By pairing the work of iconic poets & writers with beverages from their shared regions of origin, we examine the relationship between taste, place, and language, and how their poetics shape meaning.

Book Launch Event w/ Antiphony Press
Poet, grant writer, sometimes teacher and the originator of the Bos books shelf at CCTR, Stacy Szymaszek joins us in celebration of the launch of their new book, Starving is the energy, with antiphony Press.
Stacy will be Joined by kimberly alidio, mel elberg, and musician josh wise for an afternoon of collaborative performance. Open to the public.

Annie faye cheng is a chef and writer from florida, now based in queens. she’s held various roles in food and hospitality for over a decade and since 2023 has worked in whole animal butchery. Her menu is a tangy, savory, and comforting interpretation of Chinese-Hainanese cuisine, featuring ingredients lovingly hand-carried back to ny. a gasp of early summer, a letter to the island, and the perfect compliment to the spring harvest at Current cassis.

Fancy Feast Supper Club is a creative dinner series organized by culinary artist and homesteader Leah Guadagnoli. Her thematic and locally sourced meals reflect a genuine passion for bringing community together through food.
Chef Leah's recent collaboration with Mollie Katzen, the author of "Moosewood," was featured in the Wall Street Journal. She has also partnered with various organizations, including Storm King Art Center, the Clark, Planned Parenthood, Hancock Shaker Village, Villa Albertine, Mass Audubon, PS21, and Lighthouse Works, among others.

Wild Arc Farm is in the Hamlet of Pine Bush, “The Gateway to the Gunks,” in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The Hudson Valley has been at the heart of New York State's food production for hundreds of years. It is also home to both the oldest and the longest continually operating wineries in the United States. We believe that the granitic soils of the area and the Atlantic and Catskills influenced microclimates can grow world-class wines.

Katerina Liakos is a culinary professional and freelance writer who splits her time between New York City and the Hudson Valley. Katerina grew up in her family’s restaurant in Somerville, MA. She combines a lifelong commitment to hospitality with an academic background focused on food systems in her writing, cooking, and event production. She earned a B.A. in enviornmental studies from New York University and a M.A. in applied gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo Italy. She has cooked in Italy, Iceland, and New York City. She has written for publications like the Guardian, Boston Globe and This is Mold. Katerina curated a chef in residence program last summer at the Old Chatham Country Store in Old Chatham, NY. She looks forward to cooking for you :)

CUPS is our new tasting series featuring beautifully designed cups by Felicity Jones. Join us from for a relaxed, open-house–style producer feature — no RSVP needed.
This edition highlights Rose hill and sam rogers. Sam is the head winemaker at Rose Hill Ferments, focused on making high quality, low intervention wine and cider that often blurs the line between the two. All of their creations utilize only estate grown, wild foraged and/or locally sourced NY State fruit from like-minded farmers.
