Matthew Yee is a chef based in New York City. Raised in a Chinese-Jewish household, he draws from both cultures to explore the intersection of European and Asian cuisines, with a strong influence from Southeast Asia. With a background in food science and farming, Matthew brings a thoughtful, layered approach to cooking. Through Queenie’s, he’s developing his own playful style—what he calls “Chewish Cuisine.”
