There’s something uniquely vibrant about blackcurrants—their tart, savory, and deeply refreshing character inspires everything we make.
Non-Alcoholic Blackcurrant Aperitif
A refreshing blackcurrant aperitif base with vibrant botanicals, citrus, and very subtle bitters.
This dry and food-friendly sipper is made from Hudson valley blackcurrants and features the same botanical profile as our signature C. Cassis (verbena, cardamom, bay, citrus) giving you a grown-up alternative for drinking when you’re not drinking.
Details: Made from a botanical cold-infusion to maximize the beneficial properties of the plants, the infusion is then blended with a concentrate of blackcurrant and raw wild honey for a full-flavored, compelling, aperitif tonic. Packaged in a beautiful printed glass bottle, this is a handsome addition to an NA bar or table.
Use: Add an ounce to a glass with ice and top with seltzer or still water, garnish with a twist and enjoy! Packed with antioxidants and vitamin C, just barely sweetened with honey, in addition to not feeling hungover you might actually feel great.
Storage: C. Cassis NA can be stored at room temperature and will last up to a year. Upon opening it is best kept in the fridge and will last up to two weeks.

Here are just some of the magical things that blackcurrants can do…
Long used in traditional herbal medicine and like many berries it containing macro- and micro-nutrients, such as fiber, minerals and vitamins, blackcurrants are a super food that supports the whole body. Research shows that BC juice not only helps reduce oxidative stress but also supports liver health and more. The findings are pretty remarkable, from a study that examined how BC affected muscle oxygenation and found that elite rock climbers who took BC extract for seven days had much higher oxidative capacities. Or the fact that BC are rich in ascorbic acid and flavonoids, boosting their antioxidant capacity and health benefits. They contain more ascorbic acid than raspberries and blueberries. Ascorbic acid not only acts as an antioxidant but also supports collagen production and the synthesis of certain peptide hormones.
Immune system
Blackcurrants can help boost the immune system. One study found that blackcurrant supplements helped people exercise harder and longer.
Anti-inflammatory
Blackcurrants contain anthocyanins, which have anti-inflammatory properties.
Antioxidants
Blackcurrants contain anthocyanins, which are antioxidants that give the fruit its dark color. They help fight free radicals, which can reduce oxidative stress and cell damage.
Brain health
Blackcurrant juice may help improve cognitive performance and slow cognitive decline.
Vitamin C
Black currants are a rich source of vitamin C, with 20 grams of the fruit providing the recommended daily allowance.
Eye health
Blackcurrants may help increase ocular blood flow in people with glaucoma.
